*** SPECIAL NOTE FROM DR. WICHMAN ***

Beware of doctors who don't know the half-life of your Vitamin C "drip".  It's only 30 MINUTES (https://riordanclinic.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/13-75-1-PB.pdf).  By scheduling your Vitamin C so haphazardly, these doctors are repeatedly exposing you to a significant GAP in therapy.  Gaps in cancer therapy → Vitamin C resistance!

Vitamin C – The King of Vitamins

How many times have people suggested taking Vitamin C or drink orange juice to prevent a cold or flu? Everyone knows the benefits of Vitamin C to your immune system. However, are you getting enough of it?

Vitamin C is essential for healing and plays a profound role in heart and brain functions and our immune system. Many factors in our environment today deplete our body”s supply of Vitamin C. These include smoking, alcohol, caffeine, air pollutants, and the foods that we eat. Vitamin C helps the body recover from inflammation, thrombosis and restricted blood flow caused by lack of oxygen.

When you increase your Vitamin C by eating more citrus fruits and vegetables, or by taking oral supplements, there is a limit to how much you can consume before experiencing digestive disturbances. Often the amount of Vitamin C absorbed through the gut is inadequate.

One way to ensure that we get a large dose of Vitamin C is to place it straight into our system, bypassing the digestive process. This is referred to as intravenous (IV) therapy.

Vitamin C in intravenous dosage is helpful when fighting cancer, acute and chronic infections, fatigue, pre and post surgery and to generally boost the immune system.

More about Vitamin C IV Therapy

Known as “ascorbic acid,” Vitamin C is an antioxidant that is necessary to the healthy functioning of the immune system. Many people have successfully used this vitamin fighting colds and flu. Because of this, various companies have touted Vitamin C”s effectiveness against colds and flu, and developed products to meet this market.

Known by some as “the protector vitamin,” Vitamin C is essential in protecting cells and preventing tissue damage from “free radicals.” (Free radicals are atoms and molecules that attack some cells, and have been linked with various debilitating diseases, such as cancer and arteriosclerosis.) Because of this, some health care providers believe that Vitamin C may be helpful in preventing illness caused by free radicals.

Because excess free radicals in our bodies can deplete our supply of natural antioxidants, health care providers have recommended that we augment our nutritional sources of this vitamin. The Vitamin C Therapy offered by the Health and Longevity Center is specifically designed to meet this need. This vitamin also has the ability to neutralize biological toxins in the body through its antioxidant action. Vitamin C, when taken in larger doses, is a powerful antiviral agent.

Another valuable aspect of Vitamin C is its ability to detoxify the body of heavy metals such as aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, copper, lead, mercury, and nickel. We are often exposed to the metals from numerous consumer products, environmental pollution, and other sources in our day-to-day life.

Vitamin C is also essential in the formation of red blood cells, improves the metabolism of the cells and certain vitamins and minerals, encourages cellular healing and repair, and improves energy production.

Vitamin C has been reported as being useful in the health and continued maintenance of collagen in the skin, connective tissues, capillaries, teeth and bones. It is also helps keep gums healthy.
